A Villager at Rice Village (by Nathan Barreras)
This is my 2-minute look. I usually don’t wear any cap/fedora but see, I have not taken shower for 2 days (no judging), and I’m prone to having oily hair. My friends felt free to drag me off my bed just to pig out at Rice Village.
Hope you guys like it XD
HYPE: Write me a Haiku (by Nathan Barreras)
This is my version of oriental modern military street look! hope you guys like it XD
I’ve just received a notification of Topman’s style mail where they featured their 10 best boots. If you read my blog entry couple of weeks ago, I have blogged about how I’m starting to enjoy collecting boots, and so I instantly opened and checked my mail. Here goes their top 10 boots:

I’m specifically eyeing the “Lieutenant” leather boots because I’ve been slightly obsessed and inspired with Tokyo street style where they’ve been adopting military looks for casual wear.
ASOS has also started their own modern military collection, which I have to say that I was quite impressed when I saw it. However, I’m having second thoughts on purchasing from them because I’m afraid that I’d be disappointed with their products’ quality, again. See, I do have a bad experience with ASOS after receiving my $300 worth of apparels that I ordered from them.

On Sunday, I accompanied my nephew to buy a pair of pants at the Galleria. They have just opened a new branch of Palladium, a shoe store which I’m not too familiar with but I’m sure I’ve seen it somewhere. I immediately checked it out, just because the Galleria here in Houston are slowly closing down all my favorite stores, or at least the stores decent enough for my taste, and seeing a new store excites me like a kid going to toys-r-us or something. Haha.
Their Pampa tactical boots (images below) immediately caught my attention as I enter the store. I tried them on, and I fell in love with it. It was quite expensive for me so I really had to control my compulsiveness. Haha.

I have to tell you though that these images don’t give justice on how chic and comfy they are. I really like the combination of brown and olive, which is similar to Topman’s “Melville”.
If there is one thing that I would love to start collecting, that would be BOOTS. I’ve never considered myself as a shoe person, until I realize that I now have 5 pairs of boots. Not a lot compared to many but we all start with something. I don’t really wear them that often because I’m usually just on my scrubs, white shoes, and sandals.
